Anti-CAFO author and advocate Daniel Imhoff to do book signing and panel discussion at Emory

Georgians for Pastured Poultry is thrilled to welcome Daniel Imhoff’s to Atlanta on September 7th and 8th!

Imhoff, co-founder of Watershed Media,  is most well known for his book called ‘CAFO: The Tragedy of Industrial Animal Factories’ and the associated ‘CAFO Reader.’  The books consists of moving photographs and essays exposing the detrimental impacts of factory farming. More recently he has written Food Fight, a guide to the 2012 Farm Bill. He will be joined on the Saturday panel by Patty Lovera of Food and Water Watch, an organization that has amongst other things, put together a fantastic resource, mapping out the number and type of factory farms nationally. Leah Garces, co-founder of GPP and USA director for Compassion in World Farming will also join the Saturday panel.
